This role has a clear career path from Product Management intern (paid) to Product Manager to Product Director to VP Product. How fast we can promote you with more responsibilities depends on you and how fast you can learn and develop your skills.
From day one you will work closely with our senior management team, help define and shape the product roadmap as well as meet and receive input from our customers on how we could make their workflows more efficient.
Your responsibilities:
- Shape our roadmap based on customer inputs
You will meet with our customers to gather their input on how they use Favro today and what they are missing. Based on what is said (and unsaid), you will translate their abstract requests to well defined user stories and add them to our product backlog. - Own and groom the product backlog
You will continuously groom the product backlog to keep it as updated as possible and learn what questions need to be researched further to ensure our developers and designers are able to execute. - Coordinate the product planning
In and between product planning meetings you will coordinate the process of product management between the development team, management, founders, and input from customers and the market you have compiled. You will be able to convey the pros and cons of changing product priorities and how it will impact the value for our customers.
Skills and experience we believe you have:
- Problem Solver: Through studies at university and/or practical experience you have proven your ability to solve complex problems.
- Time Management and Prioritization: Strong time-management skills to organize tasks effectively and avoid delays, making sure things keep moving smoothly.
- Clear Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English to convey information clearly and briefly across different platforms and to various audiences.
- Active Listening and Interpersonal Skills: You are skilled in deep listening, paying attention to both what is said and not said in meetings with customers and other stakeholders.
- Passionate about Games: You are not only an avid gamer but also interested in the culture and business of the games industry.
- User-centric Mindset: You are able to understand user needs and have a passion for creating products that solve their problems.
- A keen eye for design: You know what great UX/UI design looks like when you see it.
